We're 100% GREEN
Floor Guardian is made from 100% recycled plastic drink bottles. Through our manufacturing process, recycled soda and water bottles are transformed into spun threads which are then woven into a soft, carpet-like material that wears like iron. We manufacture our product and roll up machines right here in the USA, minimizing the environmental impact of freight. Plus, Floor Guardian is 100% recyclable decades later when its life is over.

OUR HISTORY

The philosophy at Floor Guardian has always been customer-centric and eco friendly.

Floor Guardian is the only recycled, rolled gym floor protection on the market today. We started over 30 years ago, when the product was invented to help schools, universities , churches, community centers, and convention centers with a common problem: converting and protecting gym floors. We're proud of a product that makes facilities more versatile, is easy to use and move, and contributes to a green future.

HOW ARE PLASTIC BOTTLES
​​RECYCLED INTO FLOOR GUARDIAN?

Step 1: Plastic PET containers are picked up at community recycling centers and sorted by type and color.
Step 2: The labels and caps are removed, then the bottles are washed, crushed and chopped into small pieces called, “flake”.
Step 3: The flake is melted down and processed into fiber.
Step 4: The fiber is made into Floor Guardian.

Say farewell to tarps... forever

Most gym covers are made from Polyethylene which has been found to be harmful, even banned in some states. These competing tarps use costly gaffers tape to seam the pieces which can cost of hundreds of dollars per event and must be tossed in the trash or landfill after every use. Floor Guardian avoids this cost and waste with reusable hook and loop seams. It's safer, more sustainable and protects your gym floor better for years to come.
